Women's Golf

Myers Park’s Elizabeth Rudisill posts the best 36-hole total in State Championship history!

 

Rudisill carded 5-under 67 in both rounds of the competition to best the all-time scoring record of 136 set in 2003.

 

Rudisill’s championship made her the first individual state champion in women’s golf from Myers Park.  


Myers Park entered the day with a 4-sh
ot lead on second place Pinecrest in the team standings, but the Patriots top three combined for a stellar 14-over total in the final round to nip the Mustangs by two shots in the final team standings after Myers Park’s top three posted a combined round of 20-over on the last day.

 

A 4A Women’s Golf NC Farm Bureau Sportsmanship Award went to Ellen Pritchard from Myers Park.

Women's Tennis

The NCHSAA 2022 Women’s Tennis Individual Championships saw two Myers Park athletes compete.

 

Teagan Reilly (Myers Park) advanced to the semi-finals defeating Sasha Degroff (Broughton) 6-2, 6-2 in the Quarter finals and Brooke LaFrenz (Pinecrest) 6-3, 6-1 in the first round. 

 Teammate Finley Holzman also qualified for the championships.

The 2022 4A Women’s Tennis Dual Team Championship had several CMS teams compete including Myers Park (19-0) who battled Green Hope in the championships.

Ardrey Kell’s team advanced to the 2nd Round. Hough & Providence both qualified where their journey ended in the first round.

Men's Soccer

Ardrey Kell outscored opponents 6-0 through the first four rounds of the 4A playoffs, advancing to Regionals.

Myers Park outscored opponents 9-0 in the first three rounds of the 4A playoffs before losing to Weddington in the 4th round.

Women's Cross Country

In the 4A Women’s Cross Country Race, Myers Park’s Mary Bonner Dalton finished second with a time of 17:44.41. 

Volleyball

The Hough Huskies advanced to the 4th round of the 4A Volleyball Championships. 

Football

The Hough Huskies advanced to the 4th round of the 4A Football Championships.
