AK SPORTS REPORT

(End-of-Year 2018-2019)

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  There are only 3 days left of the regular class schedule before Final Exams start this Friday!  As the 2018-2019 school year comes to an end soon, a special congratulation to the entire AK Class of 2019 on your upcoming graduation!  Thank you for all you’ve done as Knights and good luck in all of your future endeavors!

This will be the final AK Sports Report to wrap up AK Athletics for the 2018-2019 school year.  Below is a re-cap of AK’s sports year, and also many important announcements and information for this summer heading into the Fall 2019 Sports Season!  We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer and we look forward to seeing everyone back for the exciting start to the 2019-2020 school year for AK Athletics!!

2018-2019 NCHSAA WELLS FARGO CONFERENCE CUP CHAMPIONS (SoMeck 7 4A Conference)

  • For the 10th consecutive year, Ardrey Kell High School has won the Wells Fargo Conference Cup, which recognizes the best overall athletic program in each conference based off of final conference standings in each sport.Congratulations to all our athletic teams, coaches, student-athletes, parents and community supporters on another great year in Athletics for AK!

  • 2019 Fall Sports Parent/Eligibility Meeting:
    • The date for the MANDATORY Fall Sports Pre-Season Parent/Eligibility Meeting has been set for Monday, August 12th @ 6:00 PM in the Main Gym.All Fall student-athletes and parents are required to be in attendance if participating in a Fall sport.
