Participation Ticket Opportunities

By David Casavecchia, 10/07/21, 7:45PM EDT

In addition to our Participation Ticket Drive Thru's and in order to provide more options for our student-athletes, Athletic Director David Casavecchia will be set up in the media center (from 6:45am-7:15am) and cafeteria (during all lunches) each day (schedule permitting) for students that are interested in participating in athletics to turn in their paperwork so they can receive their participation ticket (required to participate in athletics). Each participation ticket is good for the entire school year (2021-2022). Below is a list of what must be done prior to requesting a participation ticket.

  • Ticket to Play - Must be completed online prior to turning in any other paperwork. Bringing a copy of the email receipt is suggested by not required. Go to to complete Ticket to Play.
  • Physical - Must be a current physical on the new NCHSAA Physical Form ( Please make sure that your physician has signed and dated both pages of the physical.
  • Proof or Residency - Required for all students who are not in a magnet program (IB, World Language or CTE). Proof of Residency can be uploaded when completing Ticket to Play. Contact your coach for more information about Proof of Residency.

Please remember that the Participation Fee can not be paid until a student-athlete makes the team. The Free/Reduced Lunch Waiver can be turned in when requesting a Participation Ticket. Please contact CMS Child Nutrition to request/apply for the Free/Reduced Lunch Waiver. The Participation Fee Waiver Application will NOT be accepted in replace of the actual Child Nutrition Waiver.
