Colleen Cicci saved a program-record 18 shots as Reinhardt's women's lacrosse team saw its season come to an end at the National Women's Lacrosse League National Tournament with a 22-14 loss to Tennessee Wesleyan Saturday morning.

Cicci was peppered with shots throughout the contest as TWC had 49 shots in the contest, with only nine not being on target. The fast-paced contest saw Reinhardt get 32 shots of its own, with only six being off-target.

With numerous players out due to injuries, the Lady Eagles played the game short-handed two players. Still, it was RU that led halfway through the first half. Gina Ives scored the game's first goal with 31 seconds gone by, and while TWC answered with back-to-back tallies to take the lead, Anna Paquin, Stephanie Grove, and Mary Kate Minick each scored to give the Lady Eagles a 4-2 lead with 10 minutes elapsed. TWC added a third, but Nicki Caputo and Brooke Haley each scored to give RU the 6-3 lead at the game's quarter post.

From there, TWC would score seven goals in a span of 5:45 to take a 10-6 lead. Haley briefly stopped the run with a goal, but TWC added four more to make it 14-7. Minick would fire home a shot with six seconds left in the half to make it 14-8 heading into the break.

The second half started evenly, with Haley and Jarae Comstock matching a pair of TWC goals to make it 16-10 with 15 minutes to go in the contest. A 5-1 run would give TWC the lead 21-11, but Minick scored twice and Caputo added another goal to make it 21-14 with 3:20 left. TWC would score the final goal of the game within the final minute of the contest to record the win, 22-14.

Reinhardt finishes the season 7-10 and as runners-up in the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season and tournament.
