CMS Athletics Weekly Round Up

Week five of CMS Athletics football commenced last Friday night as teams made their final statements before conference play. The SoMeck7, I-Meck and Southwestern conference opponents will face off Friday, September 22 for their first match-ups of the season. Don’t miss the actions! Friday, September 15

Mallard Creek def. Harding, 30-9

Both teams entered the game with an undefeated record, however, it was Mallard Creek who came out with the win and advanced their record to 4-0 on the season. Harding dropped their first game of the season. Their record is now 4-1 on the season.


North Meck def. Cox Mill, 35-10

North Meck also continued their unbeaten streak last Friday night with a win over Cox Mill. The team is now 4-0 on the season.


Butler def. Providence, 26-25

Butler earned their second consecutive win last week defeating Providence by just one point! The team advances their overall record to 2-1 while Providence drops to 3-2.


Vance def. South Meck, 49-22

Vance secured their third consecutive win of the season as the team’s only loss comes from the first week of regular season play. The Cougars are now 3-1 on the season. South Meck continues to improve game by game as the team scores more points last Friday than they had in their past three showings.


Hough def. Ardrey Kell, 35-23

Hough has evened their record to 2-2 on the season after their win over Ardrey Kell last week. Ardrey Kell will continue to search for their first win of the regular season next week during conference play.


Sun Valley def. Olympic, 27-21

Olympic dropped their second game of the regular season last week to out-of-conference opponent Sun Valley. The team is 2-2 overall.


Scotland County def. West Meck, 40-27

West Meck suffered their first loss of the season last Friday night to out-of-conference opponent Scotland County. The team now holds an overall record of 4-1.


West Charlotte def. Berry, 24-13

West Charlotte evened their overall record last week with a win over Berry. West Charlotte moves to 2-2 while Berry drops to 1-3 overall.

Men's Soccer
