(October 9-14, 2017)

What a great week of competition for our Knights last week!  As the post-season for Fall sports rapidly approaches, our AK teams look to be peaking at the right time.  A special congratulations to our Lady Knights Women’s Golf team on completing an undefeated Conference Championship season in the SoMeck 7!  Below is the schedule for the upcoming week.  Good luck and have a great week AK!  GO KNIGHTS!  PROTECT THE CASTLE!

  • FOOTBALL:  AK Varsity Football had a big break through and victory over rival South Meck, defeating the Sabres 37-26 on the road for their first victory of the year (special congrats to Coach Brey on his 1st career win at AK)!  The Knights have another tough conference road test this week against a strong Harding team that currently sits in 1st Place in the SoMeck 7……..what a great opportunity to compete!  Good luck Knights!
  • JV Football lost a nail biter to South Meck by a score of 20-19 @ Home this past week (not quite sure about that holding call on 1st & Goal from the 1 against our Knights in the final minute though!).  The young Knights have a busy week ahead, with a makeup game against Marvin Ridge to start the week, followed by another conference Home game.
