The link that permits families to pay the participation fee on-line will go live on Nov 1st. As a result, families of student-athletes who make a team cannot pay the fee on-line until Nov 1st
Also note … families cannot pay the participation fee at the school and school personnel cannot accept payment of the participation fee at the school, by check or any other means, until Nov 1st
Please inform all applicable school personnel not to accept payments until Nov 1st
You will not be able to participate in a game if you have not satisfied the pay for participation or free and reduced lunch waiver form within 24 hours of a scheduled game.
No longer do you need to print out the eligibility packet. All that is needed for each athlete/parent is to register on this link. Fill out all forms, print receipt and give to your coach before you tryout or train in offseason workouts. You must complete all items before you can go to the next page on the online forms.
After you print receipt you must give a physical, 2 proofs of residency from Column A and Column B (lease, mortgage statement and a utility bill) and pay for participation (link is below) or waiver (free and reduced lunch from Child Nutrition Services) to your coach.

We will have our spring sports meeting for all athletes that have been selected to the following sports teams. (women's soccer, men's tennis, track, softball, golf and softball). This meeting is mandatory for all athletes and parents. The meeting will take place Feb 21st at 6pm in the auditorium. Parents please fill out the Ticket to Play -eligibility packet and pay for participation online on the CMS North Meck Athletic zone. If you have a free/reduced lunch form waiver please give to your coach and this would satisfy the pay for participation requirements. Instructions are at the top of the page of the CMS North Neck Athletic Zone.
Tryouts begin Feb 14th and all athletes must have a physical to tryout. If you have any questions please go to the CMS North Meck Athletic zone and click on the Coaches Contact on the left hand side and email the coach of the particular sport your child is trying out for.
NM Senior wrestlers Kaila Moss and Caleb Sanders will finish out here career next week in the conference tournament with Caleb Sanders leading the way to make it to the Regionals. Caleb had great senior year finishing 10-3.

JV girls and boys had impressive wins over Lake Norman. JV boys winning streak is at 60 games.
The Varsity girls played impressive defense to improve to 5-2 in conference and 11-5 overall.
The Varsity boys took charge in the 3rd qtr and never looked back to improve to 16-1 and 7-0 in conference play,

NM Boys defeat Lake Norman. Led by Tristan Maxwell 27 pts and Chris Ford 21 pts
NM boys rout Mallard Creek by a score of 82-31 and stay hot from the Arby's Classic. They are #2 in the Max Preps ranking with a 16-1 record and #1 in the Charlotte Observer sweet 16.
The North Meck girls lose to Mallard Creek 78-64 battling all the way to the end. North Meck girls are 4-1 in the conference and 10-4 overrall.

The NM Girls Basketball team lost 73-43 in the finals of the East Lincoln Winter Jam. The team was lead by Jessica Timmons with 27 points.

Incredible night as NM Boys and Girls travel to Hough to stay undefeated in conference play. Girls dominated all game and the boys rally back in the 2nd half and overcame a 5 point deficit to defeat Hough.

NM Football All Conference
Girls improve to 7-1 after beating Hopewell by a score of 63-47 led bat Freshmen Jessica Timmons to stay atop of the conference.
The boys team bounces back from Saturday after losing to the 5th team in the nation by 6 points. North led by Jely'n Withers and Tristan Maxwell defeat Hopewell by a score of 79-54 to improve to 7-1.
Friday night North Meck travels to Hough High school in another rivalry game. Please travel to Hough to support your Vikings
The boys basketball team stays unbeaten defeating Phillip O Berry by a score of 72-52. The girls played hard to the end but came up short by a score of 68-58. NM Basketball will play at Mooresville on Tuesday Dec 5th and then home vs West Charlotte Dec 8th.

Great to see the old mix with the present. NM soccer alumni helped raise over $1000 yesterday for the soccer program. Great to see everyone. Playoffs begin Wednesday for the the 2017 program. Come out and support the team . Site and opponent to be determined.
