With today's announcement that schools will remain closed through May 15, the NCHSAA has announced that all spring athletics are suspended until at least May 18th. With the uncertainty associated with the academic calendar, it is not surprising that no decision has been made about whether or not spring sports will be restored after May 18. Whether we have a season or not, maintaining some level of physical activity is good for all of us, so we encourage our athletes to include some level of activity / training on their own as part of their schedule, while adhering to all NC and CMS guidelines. Event coaches have made workouts available and are available on Remind or email if there are questions. Everyone be safe!
* Participation in these meets will be limited, either by qualifying time / distance or number of entries allowed, so not all athletes will be able to participate
** Athletes must qualify to participate in Regionals & the State Meet
Athletes are expected to let their event coach know in advance of cases of 3, 5 and 6 and let Coach Hayes know in case 4, family emergency.
If you have already paid your fee or turned in a waiver, thank you!
If not, this must be completed immediately to be eligible to continue to practice and participate in track meets.
