2021-2022 Sports Are Back!

August 18th 5:30PM in the GYM- MANDATORY PARENT/PLAYER SIGN UP MEETING (This will be the only one this year)

This meeting will go over how to sign up for ALL sports and go over all the necessary information regarding athletics at Community House MS. If you cannot make the meeting, that is ok, just be sure to register correctly as you will not have another opportunity to register during the school year. Open to all 7th and 8th graders. (6th graders are not eligible for school sports)

THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR FALL, WINTER, AND SPRING SPORTS IS AUGUST  23rd

Fall Schedules


FALL SEASON

  1. Click the BLUE   link at the top of the page to register your son or daughter for Fall sports. Once you click the BLUE link scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and sign in or create an account. Then you can complete the online forms. Check off all sports you think your child might participate in when filling out the paperwork. If you complete the registration process correctly, you will receive a conformation email.
  2. Print off the physical form during the registration process and bring it with you to the physician's office or send to them to complete for you. The DOCTOR/PA must sign the form.
  3. During the parent/player meeting or on the first day of school turn in an updated physical to the Athletic Director, Mr. Drake. Be sure to upload a copy of the physical form to your profile when registering.  

Tryouts- Tryouts will last a minimum of 2 days and cuts will be posted online using the player's number that will be given to them by the coach on day 1. There will be a final cut made and the final team roster will be put online.

AFTER the player makes the final roster, you will need to register using the RED link at the top and pay your participation fee. Failure to pay the fee before the first game will result in removal from the team.

PARTICIPATION FEE

Pay AFTER your child makes the team

$75 Participation fee due once the child makes the team. Use the RED link at the top of the page.

Applying for a waiver, all forms must be completed and the supporting documentation must be provided. Waiver forms are located on the bottom of the page.

1-Application for need-based assistance - This is based off of whole house income and must come with a proof of income or it is not valid.

2-Application for waiver of Athletic Participation Fee- This is filled out if you qualify for free and reduced lunch and have an up to date child nutrition letter. Without the letter this option is not valid.

Print and fill out. Then turn this in with the child nutrition letter to Mr. Drake.

This must be completed each season.

Student-Athlete Rules

Athletes must dress out and participate fully in Physical Education and Fit for Life to be able to participate in Athletics. 

Students may not wear their CHMS school issued team uniform for PE/Fit For Life.

Must have all forms on file with the Athletic Director before tryouts.

Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0

Must pay the $75 participation fee after making the team.
